Squares: New software, color palette "inside this moment"

Just to prove to you all that I do occasionally venture outside the world of Good Omens, this is an AU Johnlock fic where they live in Chicago and John grew up in Wisconsin as a Packers fan. I myself grew up in Wisconsin as a Packers fan, so it was right up my alley.

The drawing is by the fic author, who gave her permission for me to use it as the cover. I layered all the colors from the palette and then selectively hid them to use them for the text. All five colors are on there! I chose to use the palette for this fic because it was predominantly green-and-yellow and well, obviously.

Edit: I forgot to mention: the new software was remove.bg, an online site which removes backgrounds from images. I used it to strip out the Lambeau field background from one layer in order to modify the opacity of the background without losing the characters.

Yeah that was a nice coincidence for me; the fic had been on my to-do list already when I got my bingo card.

The colors blend really well together! At first glance it didn't really click that the background was a picture and the foreground a drawing.

Thank you! those were both in the artist's original illustration; presumably she layered them together the same way I took one of them out.
