Resources post:
Have a favorite stock pictures website, or a beloved image editing software, or a tutorial on fonts, or any other resource to share? We want it!

Monthly challenge:
Just with like the Help wanted post for March, if you reply to this post in the month of April you'll get a cheat you can use (whenever but only once) to change one of your squares to anything else you want.
This post will stay open after the month is up, and please do keep using it! It just won’t give you a cheat anymore.

So, let's get this party started!

Color schemes can be a freaking pain in the ass to figure out - I studied shit like art history and color theory for my degree and STILL have a hard time with it about half the time.  I won't get into the color theory side of things for this post, BUT.  I will share links that have made my life easier and will probably help you.

These sites generate color palettes based on photos of your choice - either online or ones you upload.  They do it by sampling colors directly from the images themselves, and then making suggestions for palettes based on what they've sampled.

PICTACULOUS: A Color Palette Generator (A+++ Fav - it suggests other palettes that are similar to the palette it generates from your image.)

CANVA Color Palette Generator

PALETTEFX Color Palette Generator (Also suggests colors that complement the colors it samples from your image.)

This one doesn't sample from uploaded pics, but I've found it valuable nonetheless:

COLOURLovers
You can do searches for palettes based on keywords or hex color codes, and find free patterns there to use as well.
