We want to keep things as loose as possible, so we'll keep the rules as simple as possible:
1. Be nice.
3 strikes, you're out. Insta-bans with no second chances for hate speech & harassment/threats. Disagreements are fine, being an asshole is not.
2. Don't steal.
We know there's a big giant gray area for a lot of folks over the issue of asking permission w/fannish activities, but we're not interested in that argument. As far as the way we want to run this individual comm, don't bring other fans' amateur fanart in here unless you've asked first. Always credit fanartists whose work you're using in the work you display.
Official images, photo shoots, screencaps, manga/doujinshi scans, stock images, and random stuff found through google image search are all fine, though from a legal standpoint, it's always best to start off looking through materials with a Creative Commons license.
3. Limit cover art requests to the Official Request Post.
We're happy to have people coming in looking for help, but we don't want the comm overrun with cover request posts that make it difficult to find everything else.
4. Stick to the tags we've already set up.
Holler at the admins if we need to add more tag choices.
Pretty sure that covers the basics. We'll update as needed and update you all w/admin posts whenever changes are made to the rules.
