So the initial concept behind this comm was the fact that we basically wanted a cover art Stitch'n'Bitch place to hang out.  So, we're creating a space to do it in comments.  You're not forbidden from doing it anywhere else in the comm, of course, but we wanted a special place for it anyway, just in case. :D

To keep it going. I'm currently like, flailing? cuz I'm attempting to cover art for my #ITPE project (the main one not the party favors) because I felt like i should spend more time on them? but like. GUYS. I'm not a art person? I am not a good at this. -flops-

I'm all YAY COVER ART but also think it's important to remember that your gift is your voiced podfic and that there's no set of time you 'should' put on the cover, which is like an extra artwork (imo). If you feel like you are done and/or this is the time you wanted to spend on it, it's done! Don't let that bring you down from the awesome feeling of making a gift for someone, is where I want to go with this. :D

I have a semi-ambitious plan for my next art! But man do I not want to try playing with it for hours on end trying to make it work and look nice. Can't the picture in my head just hop onscreen already? Haven't we mastered that technology yet??

UGH. Like, ME CONSTANTLY. Like 90% of my ideas never happen b/c I never learned how to draw and can't just sketch out my own shit ngl.

Gonna jump in to say that even when one does learn to draw, we still battle with this every damn time. XDDD There's no escaping.

Sometimes I end up making a mockup just for placement, but I've never tried actually drawing any art for covers! That feels like confidence I've never previously felt in my sketching abilities lol.
